Fermo and its history

An itinerary that will take you back in time to a medieval city, a treasure trove of history and art.

From one of the four doors of the very well preserved ancient walls, we will go up towards Piazza del Popolo where you will be struck by the harmony of its arcades and the magnificent facade of the Palazzo dei Priori.

Higher up, the cathedral that dominates the city from Mount Girfalco, with a viewpoint that with a glance will let you embrace Mount Conero to the north and Gran Sasso to the south.

The tasting awaits us in the shade of the arcades of the Piazza like modern knights on a bicycle. On our return we will walk along the ridge towards the ancient Matteucci watchtower, which slopes gently down to the sea.
